Challenge

Spray paint is street culture — but most paint shops online read like generic hardware catalogs. C4 needed a storefront as bold as the product: instantly recognizable, color-forward, and built to actually take orders for in-store pickup at the Core City shop in Detroit.

Approach

We built a near-black, high-contrast storefront with oversized condensed type and a FLAME-orange signature — the can treated as a hero object and color presented as a full wall of paint. A 120-shade color picker updates a live cap preview on the can, an inventory-ready data model makes adding stock trivial, and checkout emails every order straight to the shop and the customer.

Outcome

A storefront that looks like the culture and functions like a real shop — the full FLAME lineup (Blue, Orange, Booster, Caps) plus 600ml specialty cans, real pricing, and a working pickup-order flow from cart to confirmation email.
