Founder-led brands
Trim Eats
A food brand that runs itself.
A chef’s meal-prep brand built end to end — brand, menu, weekly ordering, local delivery and nationwide shipping, and branded email, on an Apple-clean system that’s owned, not rented. Live at trim-eats.com.

Challenge
A chef with a real meal-prep following needed to turn it into a business that runs itself — a brand, a menu that sells, weekly ordering, and the delivery and shipping behind it — without a dev team or a patchwork of no-code tools stitched together.
Approach
We built Trim Eats end to end as one owned product: an Apple-clean brand and storefront, a full menu with allergens and dietary detail, a weekly ordering flow with free local delivery and nationwide shipping, and branded transactional email — on Next.js, Supabase, and Resend, engineered to run without hand-holding.
Outcome
A live brand at trim-eats.com that looks the part and operates like a product. The menu, ordering, fulfillment, and email live in one system — owned rather than rented — ready to scale from local delivery to nationwide without a rebuild.
Visual breakdown
One system, from first look to weekly reorder.
Trim Eats had to sell like a brand and run like a product — the menu, the macros, the weekly order, and the fulfillment behind them all live in one owned system. Every surface was designed around the rhythm of a real meal-prep kitchen.

Desktop — hero & macro promise
01
Hero
The promise up front — chef-crafted, macro-balanced meals — next to a live macro ring and a three-step Plan → Meals → Checkout path, so the offer and the action share one screen.

02
The menu
Every dish is a real product card — photo, description, full macros, and allergen and dietary detail — so a customer chooses with the same information the kitchen cooks to.

Desktop — weekly plan & pricing
03
Weekly ordering
One flow, scoped to a weekly rhythm: subscription or one-time box, three tiers priced per meal, and premium meals that upcharge cleanly — all resolved before checkout.

Desktop — community & proof
04
In the wild
Prep days, packed fridges, and real customers — a social-proof band drawn from the community, so the brand reads lived-in rather than staged.

Mobile — homepage & ordering

Mobile-first
The same Apple-clean system on the phone, where most weekly orders actually happen — the macro promise, the menu, and checkout all within thumb’s reach.
